MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hi everyone,  I know I am a day late, but I hope you all had an amazing Christmas Day yesterday.   Hopefully it was a nice time for you all to catch up with family and friends and enjoy some special time together.  We had a quiet one with family and friends before a very full-on start to the new year.

I recently got into the Christmas spirit by playing some Christmas tunes at the Sundale Christmas Carols at Nambour, along with The Idol Family Chirs Ah Gee, JaZZella Music & JinjaBlue who were all on this years season of Australian Idol.  It was a great night and probably one of the biggest crowds I have ever played to.

And, I am ending the year performing at the foreshore at Mooloolabah.  Its a free family event with lots of great food, music and fireworks.  I also want to thank you all for following my journey and supporting me through the year, and I hope you all have an AMAZING 2026!!!

A SPECIAL EVENT

I am so excited to tell you all about a special show that I will be hosting in January.  As you may know, earlier this year I was selected to take part in the Talent Development Project.  It is a specialised music program in Sydney.  They fly me down once a month for 2 days to take part in intense workshops.  As a part of the program, this month’s assignment is for us to organise and host our own show.  It is pretty full on as I have to find a venue, organise a budget, marketing, sell tickets and of course, put on a great show.

Details below.

I would love to invite as many of you that is possible to come along.

I know it’s only short notice, but the show will be on the Deck at Crystal Waters in Conondale.  It’s on Friday 9th Jan from 6pm – 3pm.  I will have some special people helping me out.  Chris Cobb who was on The Voice this year is my support act, and I will be introducing you all to Gracie Winter.  Gracie is my first student that I teach guitar to, and this will be one of her first public performances.

I will also be donating all of the money from tickets to my charity, Wishlist

Wishlist help with all sorts of hospital accommodation.  I need to sell at least 20 tickets, so I would love it if you could buy one and come along to the show, or if not, you can still buy a ticket which will help me with my assignment, and also show support for Wish List at the same time.

SOCIAL MEDIA UPDATE

A big reason I started this email list is that I thought I was going to lose access to my Social Media accounts.  But it looks like I am have not been kicked off.  Yet.

The social media ban for kids under 16 came into effect as of 10th December. I was waiting to see if I was going to be kicked off, but fortunately my accounts on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube are still working, but I have lost TikTok.  The accounts are now run by Mum & Dad, but that is OK, at least I can still let you all know what I am up to, as well as these emails.

TAKE US TO TAMWORTH FUNDRAISER

On Sunday 7th December, Shanleigh Rose, Phoebe Rose, Katie Daniels and I performed at our fund Raiser Take us to Tamworth at the Little White Chapel in Maleny.

It was such a great afternoon, and I would love to thank everyone that came along and supported us.  We sold over 6o tickets and had the best afternoon with everyone.  We all got to play our original songs and tell our stories.  It was my first writers in the round experience and I really enjoyed it.  We were able to raise quite a bit of money that I gave to Mum & Dad so they can now pay for some of the trip to Tamworth in January.

TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026

January is going to be full on start to the year, we are travelling to Tamworth half way through the month and I have 11 gigs on down there this year.  It is going to be so much fun, here is a list of where I will be appearing.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you all soon.
