I’m super excited to share something special that a few of my friends and I have put together two showcase events that we’re hosting to help fund our journey to the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Together with Phoebe Rose, Katie Daniels, and Shanleigh Rose, we’ve created Take Us to Tamworth, two showcase events where we get to share our original songs, our stories, and the reason we’re working so hard to get to Australia’s biggest country music festival.

Writer-in-the-Round at the Little White Wedding Chapel

Our main event is a beautiful, intimate writers-round show held inside the beautiful Little White Wedding Chapel in Maleny. 

It is a chance for us to open up and share the stories behind our songs with you in a very intimate setting.  We’ll have wood-fired pizza, a bar and a very special guest appearance from Maleny' s legendary troubadour Kelly Cork who will also be our Emcee for the afternoon.  This one is a ticketed event, and you can get your tickets here.   https://events.humanitix.com/take-us-to-tamworth

Each of us brings something different to the stage:

Shanleigh Rose

Shanleigh blends country, folk, and pop into something both intimate and powerful. Her storytelling is honest, deeply personal, and beautifully relatable.

Phoebe Rose

Her voice is this incredible mix of strength and vulnerability, wrapped in storytelling that comes straight from the heart.

Katie Daniels

Katie is one of those rare singers whose voice doesn’t just get heard, it gets felt. She can go from soft and soulful to absolutely soaring, giving you goosebumps every time.

And me, Henry

Currimundi Lake Twilight Markets

But just before our Maleny gig, we will be at the Currimundi Lake Twilight Markets with a totally different feel.  It is right on the water, it’s outdoors, relaxed and a family-friendly to share our music with the community.  It will be a mixture of covers and original songs and gives us a chance to showcase what we will bring to Tamworth in the new year.   This is a free event, with loads of foodtrucks.  

We hope that by running these two events that we will raise enough money to cover some of the costs of getting to Tamworth.

Why We’re Raising Money

Every year, the Tamworth Country Music Festival gives young artists like us a massive opportunity, thousands of people, industry figures, musicians, radio hosts, and potential mentors all in one place.

But… it’s a big trip.
Eight hours away.
Two weeks long.
And extremely expensive, and we don’t get paid for all our gigs.

Most years, our parents end up wearing the costs of travel, accommodation, food and lots of other things.

This year, we want to give something back.
We want to help and show our families that we’re committed and grateful.

So… we’re putting on our own shows, telling our own stories, and inviting our community to help us get there.

If you’d like to support us on our journey, hear original music, enjoy great food, and be part of something meaningful, we’d love to see you at either, or both events.  We will be running a monster raffle to help raise money, but open to donations or a fee for our ticketed show.
