I’m so excited to be heading off to The Song Muster in Gympie at the end of the month! I applied a while ago and was honoured to be accepted—they have lots of applicants but only take 32 people.

It’s going to be such a great experience learning from so many talented and experienced songwriters. I can’t wait to meet everyone and see how other people write songs.

The Song Muster is a song writing event held in Gympie, Queensland, as part of the lead-up to the Gympie Music Muster. It’s organised by the Australian Institute of Country Music (AICM) and brings together both emerging and established songwriters from all over Australia.

Over several days, we’ll be doing song writing sessions, workshops, and group activities to help build connections and creativity. I’m really looking forward to seeing what we all create together.
